ACQUISITION
The first Rituals store was opened in Amsterdam in 2000 and there are now over 500 stores, in 27 countries, spread across Europe, USA, Australia and the Middle East in addition to concessions in over 2000 luxury department stores worldwide.
In 2017 a decision was made to open in Ireland with a caveat that a launch here would have to include a minimum of 3 key sites, one of which must be a flagship store on Grafton Street, Dublin’s premier high street retail destination.
BNP Paribas Real Estate identified No.81 Grafton Street as the ideal property and secured the premises under lease for Rituals in an off-market transaction and also assisted in securing planning permission from Dublin City Council for change of use from Dublin City Council.
Rituals second and third stores opened shortly thereafter at the two largest Irish out of town shopping centres, Dundrum Town Centre and The Blanchardstown Centre. Rituals have now built up their portfolio in Ireland to 9 stand-alone stores.
